April 21, 2022 An incredible week for Premier League Football!
@vincetracy and @robdaniels discussed the sadness of the
#Ukraine situation and the personal tragedy of Cristiano
#Ronaldo. Turning to football we looked at Ronaldo's bonus for
scoring hat-trick number 60 which is an amazing statistic. We
then looked at the worsening situation at #ManchesterUnited.
Gerard #Pique is a businessman as well as a good footballer
but we do not like his dealings with the #Saudis. Rob gave us
the lowdown on #LaLiga with a #CopadelRey final at the
weekend. We've had #Liverpool defeating #ManCity in the
#FACup and they will play #Chelsea in the final. Then Liverpool
outclassed #ManUnited as just one of the many #Premier
games we reviewed and discussed.

April 19, 2022 Premier Football Decisions-Good Luck Sean Dyche
@vincetracy and @ericmalpus discussed the sacking of #Sean
Dyche who had been the Premier League's longest serving
manager during his time at Burnley. You can read about his
playing career on Wiki but his heroics at #Burnley are
legendary as he staved off relegation year after year with very
little money. Most teams dreaded the visit to face his team in
the frozen wastes of Burnley. We also discussed the
ridiculously extravagant bonus earned by #CristianoRonaldo for
doing what he is already overpaid to do! The #ManCity v
#Liverpool rivalry is being hyped in the media and we prefer the
football to be prioritised. Congratulations to #Chelsea who meet
#Liverpool in the #FACup final

April 18, 2022 Didn't Sir Brucie Do Well?
The John Leslie trials by media.....Leslie was found innocent of
any sexual wrongdoing after past accusations from various
women,,,yet no-one seems to stand trial for these false
accusations after ruining his life.

2.The rail strike over Easter by conductors isn't going down too
well

3. The so called shortage of oil has given everyone an excuse to
rip us all off...the ridiculous price of beer...and even a cup of tea

.4. Apparently there is a move afoot in France to make men
avoiding housework a criminal offence.....the conversation in the
kitchen would be interesting after the court case.

5. Michael Fabricant the Lichfield M.P. has come under fire for
supporting Boris over his Xmas parties....Mike has said teachers
and nurses were doing the same thing....which has gone down
well....then there is his hair (or is it his hair?)I find it mildly
amusing when blokes of a certain age take the "character
route"....especially M.P.s

6. I watched a documentary on Kathy Kirby....she was a big star
back in the day but became a victim of fame. Vince's Interview re
Kathy..

7. This week's bad record. "Didn't He Do Well" by Bruce
Forsyth...Brucie was a very talented showbiz personality but
should have avoided this song.

Pandora Papers..........In February, a commentary from the Tony Blair Institute for
Global Change urged policymakers to seek, among other measures, higher taxes
on land and homes................

April 14, 2022 Magnificent Champions-League Semi-Finals
@vincetracy and @robdaniels discussed the
#ChampionsLeague quarter-finals with #RealMadrid v #Mancity
and #Villareal v #Liverpool prepare to play the semi-finals. We
now look ahead to #FACup semi-finals which we discussed
later. We discussed whether or not #JurgenKlopp is right in
complaining about the fixture congestion? We developed the
podcast to understand how well #Chelsea played although in
defeat despite their club being sold to various bidding groups.
Will Roman Abramovic be allowed to buy #Valencia football
club? Then we were always going to discuss the #Ronaldo
phone incident at #Everton. We predicted the semi-finals and
Rob gave us his #LaLiga roundup.

A woman who is struggling in her new job at a care home has sparked a discussion on
what it's like to quit a job you've barely even started.

One in five workers say they would struggle to cope financially if they were summoned
for mandatory jury service, with a two-week trial potentially leaving the average juror
£260 out of pocket.

A Daily Mail investigation has found that some homes have been rejected as 'unsafe'
because of stairs designed without a bannister and a one-inch step deemed a 'trip
hazard'. Local authorities checking the homes of those wanting to host refugees have
been accused of 'being like something out of Monty Python'.

A theatre company has sparked fury by staging a show featuring naked bodies that
explores 'love, sexuality and sexual pleasure' aimed at children as young as five.
The Family Sex Show's producers boast it's a performance for families about sex and
relationships - with parents encouraged to bring their children along.

April 12, 2022 Plenty of Football to Discuss
@vincetracy and @ericmalpus normally enjoy chewing the fat
over the current situations in the football world. With Eric not
being available this week Vince looked at the unusual
occurrence in the tunnel after the #ManUnited defeat at the
hands of #Everton. Superstar #CristianoRonaldo was involved
in an incident when a fan's phone fell to the floor and was
smashed. The subsequent fallout from this event is well written
in the press reports but I am trying to see this in another way.
The world of football is in turmoil and I looked at the #Chelsea
bids to buy the club. I also looked at #RichardKeys who is a fine
media broadcaster and an outspoken critic of the way
#ManchesterUnited played at #Everton

Harry Biilinge...D-Day survivor sadly passed away aged
96...spent his life raising money for a D-Day monument on the
Normandy coast....a great man and a REAL knight of the realm.

#Kinder eggs have been recalled over a salmonella scare....just
in time for #Easter

The multi talentless #AntandDec have won ANOTHER #BAFTA
for their Sa'aday Night tirkawir...which says it all.

Will Smith is still making the news as he has been given a 10
year ban from the #Oscars;...who cares?...I only wish it had been
Tyson Fury on the end of his slap....that would have been worth
watching....no more red carpet for him.

The #GrandNational is in town....I can't control my excitement

Morocco has always chosen to put pressure on Spain.    The Sahara was Spanish before
Morocco existed. Ceuta, Melilla and the Canary Islands are not and have not been
