True life—the kind that builds, multiplies, and
sustains—doesn’t come from taking what seems good in our own eyes, but from trusting the God who gives life generously and abundantly. In a world of competing voices and scarcity, the real question is whether we will use our power to preserve our own lives by taking life that isn’t ours, or wait for God to give more of what He’s already given—using the life we have to lift up and preserve those whose lives are failing: the weak, the poor, the vulnerable, and the oppressed—rather than securing our own life at their expense.
