Reading the Bible can sometimes feel like trying to assemble a giant jigsaw puzzle after

the picture on the box has been lost. Most of the pieces are (probably?!) still there, but we are often left holding fragments without a clear sense of how they fit together. This Sunday, we’ll step back and try to rediscover the “picture on the box”— the grand story of Scripture that gives meaning to the individual stories and helps us see how all the pieces were always meant to fit together.

If our allegiance is to the Kingdom of God, can we still have strong political views? Can we support a political party if we agree with some, but not all of it's platform? What happens when a political policy collides with Kingdom values?

What if the difference between God's Kingdom and every other kingdom is even bigger than we imagined?

Your current location and relationships are not accidental but are a divine assignment to practice the "incarnational" love of Jesus. Drawing on the example of early Christian martyrs and the concept of the oikos (relational ecosystem), we are challenged to stop looking for a "shinier" life elsewhere and instead transform our own neighborhoods and workplaces through intentional, embodied presence.

Our Missions Pastor, Josh Armstrong, brings a message from the book of Jonah. Jonah is one of the stranger stories in the Bible, and it gives us a stark reminder of God's heart for the human race.
