As we continue our series on lessons learned, by faith history was made, we are looking at the prophet Daniel, and how he and his three friends remained loyal to God under the greatest of pressures. Living in the pagan nation of Babylon, they stayed true to who they were in God, their godly character was tested, but they never wavered!

Today, we are looking at a man who led the nation of Israel for 20 years. He was strong, smart, and witty, but he also did not fully commit to the anointing God set upon him. The lessons learned today come from a man by the name of Samson. Samson took what God entrusted him with for granted, and in the end it cost him his life.

As we start a new series looking at lessons learned by some of the characters in the Bible, we start by looking at Noah, and how God called Noah to join Him in His plans to make the world a better place for mankind. We will see how during the process, Noah's faith was tested.

As we close out this series we look at what it takes to be a person who creates an atmosphere of harmony in all areas of life. As we do this, are we willing to accept the challenge James gives us in his letter?

As we continue looking at the prayer of unity Jesus prayed would be in the church. We look at what can hinder unity in the church, and also what each of us can do to fulfill Jesus' prayer of unity, so that people will come to know God sent Jesus into the world.

As part of our child dedication Sunday, we look at some of the reasons we do what we do as Christians. What the is reason behind, and why do we dedicate our children to the Lord. Why is water baptism so important, and should we really take communion on a regular basis?

At the heart of Jesus' last words were for there to be unity in the church, as this is the proof the world needs to believe that God sent His Son to the earth to reveal to mankind the love of the Father. Unity in the church, by demonstrating our love for one another is the vision Jesus has for the church.

Today, we talk about what we all have in common when sensing God calling us into a vision He has set us apart for, and what are some ways we can set ourselves up for a fresh start, a season of rest before moving into a plan God may be calling us to.

As we continue our new year sermon series on discovering your purpose in the Kingdom. We look at what we need to do so we develop a vision of faith, and not let chaotic thinking take over.
