Today marks our first conversation of 2022 around the word “Momentum," the word we feel God has given us as a staff and leadership team for this year. We will focus on who we are as a church, what is unique about us, and what we believe God is speaking to us in this season. Our starting point: being a people of His presence! Today is the last Sunday of Advent. We will be focusing on the "arrival of joy," which may be the most important trait we will be looking at in the Advent season. Joy at its core fights back against many of the struggles we face in our culture today. We will be focusing on the definition of joy, it’s distinction from happiness, and take time to remember, re-center and reengage joy on a deep level in the advent season.

As we finish our "Seek First" series this morning, we will look at how God empowers us to seek His kingdom by giving us grace through the Holy Spirit. Grace is not given to us so we can prove something to God, but rather in order that we would be empowered to pursue God and His kingdom.
