On today’s episode of Vinyl Fridays Brandon & AP Lindsay are joined by guest DJ Chris Bizarro who runs his restaurant Bizarro & Son out of the kitchen at The Rock Island Public House in Blue Island Illinois. He also promotes shows featuring local bands at Front Row on Olde Western (in Blue Island). The next show is scheduled for Sunday, May 26th and will feature The Cell Phones, Sweetie, Won’t Stay Dead, Cut Your Losses and Anxiety Patrol; not to mention flash tattoos, and vendors. And Christ will display his love & support of local music by playing sets of some stellar local Chicago and Blue Island bands including Cafe Racer, Gander, Waltzer, The Walters, Spider Bait, Son of A Gun, Fighting for Scraps, Aight Bet, The Symposium, Shots Fired, Lollygagger & Max Loebman, while Brandon stumbles through his meager collection of local talent. Well, they’re local somewhere, right?
