Dean Metcalf began as an intern on the Bob & Tom Show in 1988. Since then, the show has gone from local phenomenon to national syndication.  Dean shares some great stories about growing up in central Indiana and how vinyl, music and concerts shaped his persona, and career. 

Part 2 - Seph Hatley grew up in the South, in North Carolina before ending up in Indiana. His family always listened to music and had a multi generational vinyl collection. Seph was the next one in line to inherit the collection. At first Seph didn't even have a turntable, then gradually the vinyl became a part of life again.

Jason and John visit with a fellow collector, Don Garner, who brings in some very interesting vinyl to chat about, everything from celebrity albums to forgotten singers from the pre-Beatles era to scented vinyl (a real thing) to picture discs. Each discovery has a story. 

Jason and John interview a collector Kevin Stout, who also sells records. Kevin's favorite album of all time is Dark Side of the Moon. His love of Pink Floyd runs deep. A Police Synchronicity  pressing discovery and the varied cover designs take the guys by surprise.

One of Indianapolis's oldest surviving record stores is Karma records, longtime store manager Doug Bauerle talks about where the record store business has been and where it is going in the future. Along the way the gang gets derailed plenty of times to talk about concerts and other music tidbits.
