Virgin Australia is returning to the Australian stock exchange, a rare listing on the ASX and an opportunity for everyday investors.

Over recent years several big companies have left the exchange to go into private ownership. Now, the corporate regulator ASIC has introduced measures to streamline new listings, in an attempt to revitalise the ASX.
