The 10 Virgins started out on one accord.

 ...When you liken this to Christians and our walk with God, we are on one accord about Jesus coming back again. We recognized that darkness shall be a part of the trip, physically and spiritually. We understand being armored. 

...When it comes down to details, division started. Five packed light, and the other 5 were prepared for come-what-may.
