Often less discussed, but of central importance to mindfulness practice, is the cultivation of virtue in daily life.  Virtue simply put is refraining from causing harm and cultivating what is skillful or beautiful. Early Buddhist teachings point towards five “precepts” or areas of training in virtuous conduct.
