The Virtuous Optimist aka Chazz is on the move, flippin’ up & down i-10 in Louisiana. When a high school classmate (Kcal) hits you talking about “How Can We Win?” a touch and agree is necessary right? In Lake Charles, Chazz links with 3 soul brothas, one of which is a surprise guest, Marlon, writer and classmate she doesn’t recall since elementary school...along with Rapper, Veli aka Mac & Trainer, KCal who made it all happen. Hit play to hear us catch up, talk #WINNING, food deserts in Lake Charles (I never heard of that either), young black men setting boundaries for themselves, Is Tupac in Cuba with Assata?, Spirit or South West, and much more. Oh and Veli let us run one of his latest tunes “Learning Myself”, super groovy!
