Today’s topic is about the utility of boredom.  Have you ever heard a child utter the phrase,“I’m bored…” or maybe you have said it yourself.  Is boredom a result of our modern-daydistractions or has this been an ongoing problem for many years?  We’ll talk about how we can take everythought captive and use the times of ‘boredom’ to honor God.

The discussion today is around the idea of gratitude and contentment. How can families cultivate gratitude when the whole world around us seems to be driven by consumerism? How can we be more content with the possessions we have?
