This episode is a summary of the book, Conformed to His Image by Ken Boa. Dr. Boa has written on 12 facets of the Christian faith that help us grow into our ultimate calling of Romans 8:29, the Christ be formed in us. This is the book being used for our summer study at the C.S. Lewis Institute.

Today we are speaking about Bible translation methods, the various translations and the importance of knowing scripture.

Today we talk about the 9 fruits of Galatians 5 and the 3 additional fruits found in the original language. We speak about the work of the Holy Spirit in cultivating these fruits in us, the Being in our disposition of fruit bearing that takes place before the Doing of fruit bearing.

This is part one of two on the question of bearing fruit. Today we discuss the conditions and practices that lead to bearing fruit. In part two we will discuss the specific fruits.
