Listen Later

Do you have a destination in mind? Do you have a goal for your life? When you have a desire in your heart, it will manifest as discipline in your decision-making process. Vision is paramount! You can lose your joy and zest for life if you have nothing to wake up for. Habakkuk was a prophet in the Old Testament. He asked two questions. The first  question was, ”Why is this happening” and then, ”How long will it go on?”. Isn’t this typical of human nature? God doesn’t answer the questions. Instead, he asks the prophet to change his perspective. Your perspective determines your perception. Where you sit will determine what you see. If you are sitting in confusion, you will see confusion. The prophet chooses to move higher into the tower to “see what God says.”  It is interesting that he doesn’t say that would hear what God says. If you are not seeing everything you want to see, you may need to change your perspective. Be willing to position yourself in a better, clearer space, so that you can begin to see on the outside what God has been saying on the inside. Don’t be afraid to alter your perspective. It may mean the world of difference in your perception!
