Vision Australia was one of a number of sector organisations to lobby the NDIA (National Disability Insurance Agency) to ensure it lived up to its promise to make information available in accessible formats. The agency has recently announced that plans are now available in braille, audio, large print and electronic formats.

Vision Australia was recently invited to speak to the ACT Legislative Assembly Select Committee inquiry into the conduct of the 2016 ACT election. The kiosks provided for people who are blind or have low vision to vote at the election compromised people's voting privacy.
