What does it mean to be filled with the Holy Spirit? First know the meaning of the word "filled."
•
Filled: “to be being kept filled.”
•
Watch as Pastor Chris breaks down some key points:
• You don’t decide to make Jesus Lord. Jesus IS Lord no matter your decision.
• You need Jesus Christ to save you, but you need the Holy Spirit to sanctify you.
• The more you are filled with the Spirit, the less you are filled with yourself.
• You have the Holy Spirit, but does He have you?
• The enemy of being filled with the Spirit is being filled with yourself.
How can you guarantee that you are saved and going to heaven?
•
The guarantee of our salvation and eternal inheritance is the Holy Spirit.
•
So what is the baptism of the Holy Spirit? The baptism of the Holy Spirit is an act by God’s Holy Spirit, where He places a believer in the body of Christ. This means that in order to live the life God wants for you, you must get your power from the spirit inside of you.
•
The path can be difficult at times, but when we can’t understand God’s ways, we can still trust God’s heart.
Who Is The Holy Sprit?
So many people are living a Spirit-less life, because they are unaware of the power and the presence of the Holy Spirit.
In Week 1 of The Holy Spirit series we begin to learn who The Holy Spirit is and look at four things The Holy Spirit does in our lives.

Titus || Week 3 || Why Are People So __________?
•
People can be difficult sometimes. But let's remember, we all can be difficult at times. Sometimes, even, we used to be just like the person we now find difficult. And here's some news: you can disagree with someone without dishonoring them.
•
As Pastor Chris wraps up our series in Titus, we learn that your soul can’t hold its breath. It must breathe in something – either God or the world.
•
How should we live as Christians? At work, at home, and at being?
•
Work, Home, and Me
•
As we get older, it's easy to wonder what our purpose is. How will God use you? What should you be doing right now? And where does it start?
•
In our second week in the book of Titus, Pastor Chris reminds us, "If you aren’t dead, God’s not done." Stay tuned for the five ways to point people to Jesus at work. Your relationship with Jesus is best measured by your relationships at home, at work, and in your private life.
•
God uses the ordinary day to day things as platforms for His extraordinary power.
As we begin our Titus series, we learn that many people claim to know Christ with their lips, but deny Him with their life. What does that mean? Watch as Pastor Chris describes the four chairs and ask yourself, "which chair are you in?"
As we wrap up our Jonah series, we learn that Jonah still carried wounds from being in the belly of fish. But when and how do wounds heal? • Wounds heal as they begin to scar. When you have wounds, you hurt. But when you have scars, you are healed. • Several times in Jonah ch. 4, we read that God appoints something, so we have a vocabulary lesson -- MANAH means: assent, to appoint, to prepare, or to provide. • Lean in as we learn that sometimes what looks like a problem is actually God’s provision, and that God’s provision does not always come wrapped in your preferences. Sometimes, what seems like misery now, will look like manna later.
Jonah was in the belly of a fish. It was dark. It was lonely. It was a wretched place. Yet, in his darkest moment, Jonah knew to cry out to God. In week two of Jonah, we learn, that sometimes you will have to experience pain in order to fulfill God’s purpose and that you don’t have to understand God’s plan to trust God’s heart. Listen as Pastor Chris helps us helps us understand: when you realize you have nothing but God, you realize you have all you’ve ever needed.
Jonah ran from God, disobeyed God, and ended up swallowed by a fish - where he lived for three days and three nights.
•
What if you intend to obey God, but decide to wait? And, really, if we're being honest, isn't there a little bit of Jonah in all of us? Catch the message as we learn we begin to learn what disobedience really is, what causes it, and what our response to God should be.
