For today’s show, Tuesday host Carousel Bayrd takes a close look at two important local initiatives.

First, Renee Callaway and Jeremy Nash from the City of Madison Traffic Engineering talk to us about Madison’s “Vision Zero” and “20 is Plenty” projects for slower speeds, fewer traffic incidents, and safer streets for pedestrians, bicyclists, drivers.

Then, Alder Tag Evers and Food Systems Business Development Specialist George Reistad discuss the city council’s resolution earlier this week to bring a full-service grocery store to Park Street in order to provide greater food access on Madison’s south side.
