Visionaries #5 (1988)

Does anyone who isn’t a regressed 80’s child remember the Visionaries? Visionaries were a toy line that focused on holograms and poems for boys. The figures were slightly bigger than GI Joes so you couldn’t have them wrestle each other unless if the Visionaries were from the land of Manute Bols.

This short-lived comic follows the heel and face knights as they attempt to grab a few fancy jewels for a dying wizard who DEFINITELY IS NOT MERLIN. Its surprisingly progressive at points, especially when women ask for AND receive mystical powers equal to the men. Also, one of the knights makes soup and then turns into a green bear.
