This is the second episode of my second interview with Paul Diamond from Tantraya. In this episode, we get into some quite esoteric stuff. We start off with discussing who's a real Sharman, and who's a charlatan. We discussed the problem with the sexual indiscretions of some shamans and how that might be avoided. Then we move on to the fairy traditions of the British Isles. We talk about physics, the multiverse, multiple dimensions, and how some physicists approach the topic and how magic and Shamanic traditions approach it. We discuss panpsychism and whether panpsychism might be a fundamental property of matter, or a result of information processing. Finally, we look at the idea of karma and try and make sense of it in a world in which there is no such thing as free will.
This episode of Visionary Spaces is in SPANISH. In the coming months, I hope to have my webpage up which sill included transcripts as well as a translation of this wonderful interview:
Esta Entrevista esta en ESPANOL
I first met Marcela Pantigozo a little over a year ago when I was blessed to have experienced a Wachuma ceremony she led with her partner and son. I remember it as if it were yesterday... Everyone sitting by the fire and the sky was crystal clear. The full moon rose up over the peaks of the rocky mountains. It was one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen and one of the most beautiful days I have lived.
Not only was the view that night remarkable, but that day marked a special day for me because it was the day I met this wonderful human being. For the first time in my life did I meet a real live person who was definitely the archetypal “wise woman.”
I am glad to have had the pleasure of spending a few more meetings with her, including for this interview which was conducted in person 9 months ago. I also participated in one of her wonderful courses online during this pandemic. Every time I am in contact with her I learn a lot more than I could have imagined.
In this interview she explains about Wachuma, Tobacco and Coca… Marcela discusses the path that led her to her current work. She discusses the roles of women and men and how we, as men and as women, can work together to support each other and lift each other up. She emphasizes the importance of women's and men’s circles and her work with Danzante De Luna with Abuela Malinalli en Mexico and as well as some useful techniques to help us listen and connect to nature.

This is Part 1 of my 2nd interview with Paul Diamond from Tantraya. In this interview, we talk about Paul's history with regards to the spiritual, esoteric path and as well as his experience with the medicine. We talk about what can be done in the visionary space. We discuss different spiritual traditions and how to assess the nuggets of gold in those traditions while eliminating dogma. Finally, we talk about the role of the shaman in ceremony.
Targeted to Ayahuasca newbies, this is a great episode for learning what to expect from Ayahuasca in a non sensationalized manner. Dan Nash is a friend who works with Paul Diamond at Tantraya. In this episode, we talk about best practices for Ayahuasca... who should take it, who should not, what do you need to worry about, what you might get… What are common misconceptions about Ayahuasca? What are “wrong” reasons to do Ayahuasca? What is integration? What are good, better, best intentions? What are good ways to prepare for your first ceremony? Value of intense experiences and how to manage them? How does one not be a “bliss junkie?” Visionary spaces and the non-dualistic framework...
I met Ilum at the top of a mountain in the Sacred Valley of Peru, emaciated after completing a 40+ day fast. Ilum talks about Christ consciousness and the relationship between the teachings of the great sacred teachers around the world and the commonalities between those teachings. He discusses the Shipibo use of the word “soma” in traditional icaros and the relationship of this word to the sacred soma medicine of the east. He hypothesizes why society works to hinder the vibration of love from working to allow each of us to awaken to our own divinity.
Selina is the leader at the Camino Sagrado retreat in the Sacred Valley of Peru. We discuss Selina’s background, her experience with the medicine, retreat center, who should come and who should think twice. We talk about the vision of Camino Sagrado, the divine feminine, personal transformation, and peace. We discuss yoga and the other practices Selina does to maintain a presence.
CONTACT SELINA:
In this episode, we open with a discussion of Kundalini. We discuss Puja and the use of Puja to invoke or set the container with the energy or essence of deity so as to work with that essence, i.e. “Getting down to that ‘god-level’ of reality.” We discuss also Ayahuasca and its utility for and relationship to understanding our own eventual death. Finally, how can we know whether to trust the inspiration we get under the experience of the medicine.
