In so doing, many will pay with their lives. But even in this loss of human life; they will be saved and give a new body to live in. Not a hair on their head will perish; as the Lord said.

The Lord comes as a thief in the night, so the Apostle Paul begins. There will be peace and safety heralded by those in power. But sudden destruction will come instead. We are to Watch, as Children of Light and followers of Christ Jesus.

The believer in Jesus Christ are to watch and be sober. For we are not of the darkness, nor of the night, or of the deeds thereof. We are in the light as Jesus Christ is the light and we walk in Him. We are the light shining in the darkness of humanity. The Day of the Lord comes and many sleep. Here the Apostle Paul is urging the Thessalonians on matters of importance to watch, be sober, and be found in Christ. Don't become lethargic or fall asleep as many of their day has done.

The gospel: The election of God to the Gentiles and to the Jews. Amidst persecution, there is the need to nurture, teach, and make sure those who have heard the gospel can move further into the faith.

Paul and his group, for he said "Our exhortation"; which was the Gospel. This is the election of God to all men, a way to be brought to the Father, find forgiveness, and faith. The work is dangerous, and there were many pagan teachers, philosophers, and others who did not want their city to be invaded by the Gospel. They could neither do the miracles nor truly see people changed as was going on. It would be through the struggle of the ongoing spreading of the gospel that the Apostle and those with him would impart not only the Word of God, but their very souls as well.

We will begin at Revelation 12:17 with the confrontation of Dragon and the Woman, then the war with the Remnant of her seed; these keep the testimony of Jesus Christ and his commandments. We proceed to chapter 13 and the Two Beasts, along with all the overriding accompaniments to this rule of evil.

You cannot deny the prophetic nature and deep embedded secrets in Revelation. Yet, the things which we are to know; lay before us. There is a day, even today where this Dragon makes war with the believers. Around the world it goes on. But in this we find nations today, even in America who pushes the Anti-Christ fervor against Christianity and the gospel. To say the Dragon is wroth, is an understatement. To say that the war is a small thing which is waged against Christians is also a misstatement. We move from here into the realm of Two beasts and the indepth worldwide war during the main portion of the Tribulation.
