Here at the Visually Stunning Movie Podcast, we're fans of the MCU. We've made no secret of that.
But we're able to be objective about projects as they come up. Not everything Marvel release is the best thing ever, nor is it "the end of Marvel" as some larger outlets might have you believe.
This past weekend at Scan Diego Comic con, however, Marvel did something that has folks on all sides talking. It's dominated the internet since, and now, Mark and Ryan are going to tell you what they think of
Robert Downey Jr. as Doom.
Is it genius? is it a gimmick? Is it desperation? Is it more unfocused flailing by a studio trying to win back its audience?
Listen on to find out.

Well, it took us a bit, but we've finally reached the end of the 8 episodes that was season 1 of The Acolyte on Disney+.
We were cautiously optimistic after the first 4 episodes (https://shows.acast.com/vsmoviepodcast/episodes/the-acolyte-episodes-1-thru-4), but then we had to wait to get through the last 4 episodes. As Mark was travelling when the finale hit, this discussion had to wait a bit, but here it is.
What, exactly, do the guys think about the entire 8 episode run of The Acolyte?
Listen and find out.
But we're probably going to get angry calls and emails. Well... Mark probably is, anyway.
