When God says, "Come as you are," He truly means just that. We can come with our brokenness, questions, frustrations, and anger--He'll never turn us away. He's inviting us to draw closer, to come, sit and lay it all at His feet.

God is not afraid of our questions; He welcomes them. On this particular day, I was feeling broken, and tired and had so many questions in my heart. I decided to write them and closed my journal. Immediately, the Father spoke, "Come, sit, I want to answer you." I sat down and opened my journal. Papa flooded my heart with His loving response.

I want you to know that God sees you, and He cares. He's not asking you to mask your hurt and pain or to stuff down your feelings. He's inviting you to come close to release your anger, frustration, and emotions, but you must also be willing to be still as He lovingly responds.

Has your voice been silenced? Do you find it difficult, (like me) to find and use your authentic voice? Do you question if your message, story, or voice matters? It does!

Your voice matters. Resist the urge to compare yourself to anyone. Resist the urge to take someone else's message, refine it and use it as your own. YOU have your own message. YOU have your own story... and we need YOUR authentic voice.
