Matthew 6:19-24 teaches that money is not inherently evil, but we can become devoted to it. If we build our lives on material possessions instead of on Jesus, we have an unstable foundation. We should focus on advancing the Kingdom of Heaven and let our use of resources reflect that.

Unjustified anger often stems from pride, so we should strive to live at peace with others through humility, confession, and reconciliation. Holding onto anger hinders our ability to achieve true peace individually and corporately.
