Peace arises as we count the many mini-miracles Jesus gives us each day. We can have peace with God through Jesus and peace with others, contrasted with someone who lives by the flesh and is given to envy, fits of anger, rivalries and division.

The true understanding of love is found once we grasp the love Jesus has for us. Love is the fruit which all others are drawn from. Divine love from/for God that makes room for everyone to have a seat at the table. A love that cannot be earned.

In John 15, Jesus gives a vivid image of what it means to be in union with him. It’s the image of a branch and vine. What Jesus does is help us see that if we are to have an abundant life within the kingdom of heaven, we must abide in Him. Part of remaining in Jesus are the intentional daily rhythms every person needs to grow as an apprentice of Jesus. It’s one thing to say you love Jesus, it’s another to desire and submit my daily patterns that enable me to live a life that demonstrates his influence in my life. For apart from Him we bear no fruit in for the kingdom of God.

In Luke 15, Jesus tells a three part parable that creates a narrative that portrays the focus of Jesus heart for those that have not yet been found. The lost sheep, the lost coin and the lost son. Vitalpoint has a mission to reach people and help them become fully devoted followers of Jesus. One of our core values is invest and invite in those around us that have not yet encountered Jesus. We will cast a vision for each VPC person to live in a way that helps reach more people, which means we will give heaven an excuse to party!
