Working through Introduction to The Devout Life by St. Francis de Sales one chapter at a time. Here’s chapter 2 of section 3, Which Virtues Continued. Here St. Francis explains that virtues in some will look different in others. Just as walking as an adult is not as impressive as a child taking their first steps, as we grow in virtue, it will look different and certain things might not be as virtuous as we grow.
