Set in 1850 the action takes place in The Oregon Territory as we see backwoodsman Adam Pontipee (Howard Keel) on the lookout for a wife for him...and his six brothers. Everybody’s talking about our next podcast as we discuss the 2021 film adaptation of the 2017 stage musical, “Everybody’s Talking About Jamie”. Based on a BBC Documentary the story tells the story of budding 16 year old Drag Queen Jaime New who wants to wear a dress to his school Prom and the opposition he meets. Starring Max Harwood, Sarah Lancashire and Richard E Grant, the film is full of fabulous songs. Put on some lipstick and your best heels to tune in!

It's time for a trip to the flapper era of the 1920's via the 1967 musical "Thoroughly Modern Millie". This brings the first appearance in our list of musical icon Dame Julie Andrews as she plays the naïve Millie Dillmount who has arrived in New York with the goal of marrying a wealthy businessman. The film also stars Mary Tyler Moore, James Fox and the iconic Carol Channing with an Oscar winning score by Elmer Bernstein.

To say this film has not dated well is an understatement.....despite the name there is nothing modern about it. Tune in and join us for a very interesting discussion......and.........RASPBERRIES!!!

WE'VE MADE IT!!!!

It's time for No.1...top of the Horror list and it's a big one as we discuss the 1973 supernatural horror classic "The Exorcist". Based on the 1971 William Peter Blatty novel we see the story of a young girl being possessed by a demonic possession and her mother's attempt to save her through an exorcism by two Catholic priests. Grab your popcorn and a cushion to hide behind as we finally reach the top of our Horror Watchlist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We thought We reached the top but not quite! We realised that we’d nearly finished the list without including horror juggernaut ‘It’, the 2017 adaptation of the Stephen King classic. Through Bill Skaragard we are introduced to the terrifying drain dwelling clown Pennywise who is terrorising seven outcast children (The Losers Club) in Derry, Maine. Grab a balloon, tune in and remember we ‘We all float down here’

We've reached No.2 in our list and Heeeeeeere's Johnny! We discuss the 1980 Stanley Kubrick adaptation of the Stephen King novel, "The Shining" starring Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duvall. Writer Jack Torrance takes on a role as off season caretaker for The Outlook Hotel. As Jack's sanity deteriorates his son Danny's psychic abilities tells us that there's a lot more to the hotel than meets the eye. Tune in for this horror classic and heed the warning...REDRUM REDRUM!!!

We've reached No. 3 and it's time to brace yourself as it's the infamous 1974 horror "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" The story follows a group of young friends visiting an old homestead but the journey comes a cropper when they foolishly pick up a hitchhiker. In the first of what was to become a big franchise we meet horror staple Leatherface. Just when we thought we were out of the woods....this film comes along!!!
