Spoilers galore!  La Jetée - Movie that the movie 12 Monkeys was based on.  12 Monkeys the new series on Syfy is another Syfy "original".   Character actors - how we love them.  Lisa provides all the spoilers of all the movies EVER (12 Monkeys, Episode 1 of the series 12 Monkeys, Citizen Kane)!  But does it matter giving away the end of episode 1 when it's a show about time travel and characters will come back when they go to a different place in the timeline.  Detroit, we love you!!  The 12 Monkeys show takes place for a time in Detroit, Michigan.   Helix season 2 - did it jump the shark?  Helix Episode 1 review - spoilers!   Maybe it just jumped the shrimp?  The Fall with Gillian Anderson - season 2 is new on Netflix.  Cristy talks about why she is impressed with Gillian Anderson's role in The Fall.  Orange is the New Black and the dangers of binge watching.

Lisa and Cristy talk about Guardians of the Galaxy - SPOILERS.   Why is it that aliens are either 1. Humans of different primary colors or 2. The show Bones.  They discuss inviting Stephen Hawkins to appear on the podcast.  The ladies get deep talking about science as religion and those who believe science has disproven religion.  Why can't we all get along?

Lisa and Cristy talk about their love of Canada and some Australian listeners.  Girls also talk about Syfy originals that are usually not really original.  Ascention is a new actual Syfy original but with the plot of many sci-fi movies/shows.    Helix is another actual original that is worth the watch.  The ladies thank their alien overlords as they ask themselves….  Why are we in the age of the reboot, where everything is remade?  Why is everything a trilogy? Lisa and Cristy review the series they love, Lost Girl, soon to start their fifth and final season in the US.  Cristy shares her nickname for one of the main characters:  Dr. Boring Lesbian.  The ladies also make suggestions on how to slash the Game of Thrones budget to make more than 10 episodes a season.

Lisa and Cristy talk about why they've been MIA lately.  They also discuss what an Explicit rating means in podcasts. Also, where to find good nerd gifts for the holidays.  They swing back and forth on many a tangent but finally settle on discussing a movie, They Live.  An 80's campy Sci-fi movie where wrestling and aliens do mix so well.

Major Nerd News Batman!!!  Lisa and Cristy talk Mystery Science Theater 3000 and Community news and their love of Inspector Space Time.  Doctor Who is BACK!!  Thank you Steven Moffet for the improvement in the writing just in time for the two last episodes.  The girls discuss the latest Doctor Who episode, Dark Water.   On a different note, what internet fame is and how the interwebz targets smaller audiences vs Television's millions.  Everything is so tailored to what you are interested in that there is a lack of perspective.  The ladies talk about a show they saw called, Intergallactic Nemesis.  It was a show based on the radio plays of the 30's.
