When we try to understand things in their reality, if we analyse far enough, we are confronted by a mysterious fact, seemingly a contradiction. Swami Vivekananda unravels the greatest mystery of the Universe, of existence itself, in this lecture delivered in Los Angeles, California on 5th Jan 1900 titled 'The Open Secret'.

This Lecture is available in the 2nd Vol. of Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda

This excerpt is taken from Swami Vivekananda's lecture on The Ideal of a Universal Religion - Complete Works Vol.2

Whenever privilege is broken down, more and more light and progress come to a race.  You may be wealthy, and I may be poor, you may be strong, and I, weak... but what of that? Let all these variations remain eternally as it is the very essence of life, but because you are physically or intellectually stronger you must not have more privilege than I, and that you have more wealth is no reason why you should be considered greater than I, for that sameness is here, in spite of the different conditions, says Swami Vivekananda in his lectures on Privilege delivered in London.

These lectures can be found in the 1st vol. of Complete Works

In this excerpt from a class lecture delivered in America, Swami Vivekananda explains the four-pronged way to remove the veil of nature covering our inherent perfection.  The full lecture titled  'Steps to Realization' can be found in Vol 1. of the Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda
