Temperatures at the Bespoke facility used by the marque, located in Arjeplog, Sweden, just 55km from the arctic circle, drop to -26 degrees centigrade and are further cooled to -40 degrees centigrade.
The ongoing transformation of Lotus to a truly global performance car brand has reached its most significant milestone yet.
The all-new and all-electric Lotus Eletre is a striking and progressive Hyper-SUV – the first of a new breed of pure electric SUVs. It takes the core principles and Lotus DNA from more than 70 years of sports car design and engineering, evolving them into a desirable all-new lifestyle car for the next generation of Lotus customers.
It is no small feat to craft a 911 –1,500 workers touch each car during its two-day long assembly that starts with a shell and finishes by rolling off a line. Now, for the first time, a time lapse video shows the entire process, focusing on a very special 911 GT3, part of the Paint to Sample program.

The fifth model generation also kicks off with the MINI 3-door. The new edition of the original is now undergoing its driving dynamics tests in the winter landscapes of Lapland.
The new MINI family is doing its warm-up laps - and that works best on ice and snow in the bitter cold of the Arctic Circle. The new MINI is currently undergoing its driving dynamics tests at the BMW Group's winter test centre in Arjeplog, Sweden. The new edition of the MINI is fully electric and is now completing a major chapter in its series development process with the winter testing in Sweden. The electric drivetrain, high-voltage battery, power electronics and charging technology of the prototypes are already demonstrating their high degree of maturity at extreme temperatures below freezing. Snow-covered roads and specially prepared areas on frozen lakes also serve as ideal test tracks on which the characteristics of the drive, steering and chassis can be very sensitively tested, refined and harmonised with each other.
We test out the updated sports car Let's start under the hood. The legendary VR38DETT V-6 has been given two new turbochargers, lifted straight from Nissan's GT3 GT-R race car. These feature 10-vane turbines instead the 11-vane items used previously, and each vane is 0.3mm thinner, reducing the mass of each turbine by 14.5 percent. That means a 24 percent reduction in inertia, which, Tamura says, translates to a 20 percent improvement in engine response from zero to wide-open throttle.
When the season starts on 18-20 March with the FORMULA 1 GULF AIR BAHRAIN GRAND PRIX 2022, Mercedes-AMG will be contributing to the excellent safety of the FIA Formula One World ChampionshipTM with two exceptional performance models that have already well and truly proven their racetrack credentials. What are the freebies you get when you purchase a brand new car? Free tinting and floor mats? Nice. Or maybe even a free concierge service for a year? That's neat. What about a free ride to space?
That last bit is actually possible, courtesy of Land Rover and Virgin Galactic. There's an ongoing promotion called Adventure of a Lifetime that sends one Land Rover owner into a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel to space (and back). It's one heck of a freebie when purchasing a new Land Rover; all you need now is a little bit of luck.
Anyone who owns, orders or purchases a new Land Rover can be entered to win a ticket to space.
With all the performance of the 765LT coupe, the new Spider brings open-top emotion with small compromises. Step on the throttle, and the sonorous experience turns glorious as the revs build.
Hydrogen fuel cell technology also enables unrestricted sustainable mobility in extremely low outside temperatures. Integrated application of drive system, chassis and electronics at the BMW Group’s winter testing centre in Arjeplog, Sweden
