February 28, 2018 The Power of Sex | Swipe Right Series
That’s right, it’s time to talk about sex. How often does the world tell us that what the Bible teaches about sex is archaic and irrelevant? The reality is that God’s boundaries exist to protect you from yourself. They are not outdated, they are timeless; the God who put them into place is the same today as He was then, and always will be, and His ways are perfect and purposeful.

In the third message of Vizion's SWIPE RIGHT series, Pastor Tyson Coughlin speaks candidly about the reality of sex. He points to the Biblical truth that the boundary of marriage is the only thing that makes the difference between sex bringing goodness and vitality, and it bringing destruction. He also discusses pornography, and how to respond to temptation. Once saved in Christ, there is always an escape from temptation, for we are no longer slaves to sin. The carnal desires of this world may not cease, but in Jesus we have a way out.

In Matthew 5:29, Jesus teaches that “if your eye— even your good eye— causes you to lust, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.” He instructs, urges, and commands us to flee from temptation with great urgency, no matter the cost. Lust never satisfies, but through salvation in Christ Jesus we are made perfect and complete. If someone in your life might benefit from these resources, do not hesitate to share them.
