IN THE ROOM

Podcast About Nothing

PolitiSized

For this week’s IN THE ROOM, DJ, Derrick McDonald, and Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Brady Hicks get together to discuss the prospect of WrestleMania at MetLife Stadium up by New York City (how this eliminates any chance of a Madison Square Garden WrestleMania, and how it impacts plans for future WrestleMania venues as well), how perhaps WWE jumped the gun by inducting Edge into this year’s Hall of Fame, how The Horsemen going in is a real head-scratcher, and how Chris Jericho’s new “character” is so polarizing. All that, and so much more. If you’re in the Philadelphia area this weekend, be sure to check out the old ECW Arena this Saturday afternoon/evening for perhaps the last day of wrestling at this historic site … a double-shot of Combat Zone Wrestling and EVOLVE, with a special tribute to ECW. Stop by and say “hi” to Brady Hicks, who will be there doing an IN THE ROOM / VOC Nation simulcast with the VOC’s “AC Smooth.” And, as always, thanks for the support!

Join us here on LOP Radio's Aftershock for immediate reaction and a full recap of NXT's Takeover: Chicago LIVE mere moments after the event ends!

With the Mystic away on official Bobby Roode business, his learned colleage, mizfan, is left to soldier on without him. But he's not alone, as joining mizfan to cover tonight's show is the host of The Late Shift every Monday and Tuesday nights, Steven Bell.

They'll be breaking down everything that went down on the show, from the very likely surprises to the potentially huge championship matches. Are Asuka, the Authors of Pain and the Glorious One, Bobby Roode, still in control of NXT's New Era or have others stepped up to stake their claim?

Find out here, LIVE, as LOP Radio's Aftershock breaks it all down!

Join Nani Mupphits and Coach Kev for 90 minutes of wrestling talk that pushes the envelope. On this episode, they discuss Top 10 Best/Worst 10 Wrestling Finishers, air a live in-person interview with Former WWE Superstar, Brodus Clay, & much, much more!

The VOC Nation Radio Network traces its roots back to 2009 in suburban Philadelphia.  Bruce Wirt took over the afternoon shift on the Voice America Health and Wellness Network and proclaimed himself, “your new ‘Voice of Choice’ in afternoon radio.”  The V-O-C in VOC Nation was born.

Over the next 3 years, Wirt took his act to Philadelphia radio, eventually settling in at independently owned WNJC 1360AM.  The VOC Nation Radio Network spun away from WNJC in October 2012 and took to the “cloud”, using their solid fan base to instantly become one of the most listened to mediums on the Internet.  In 2014, VOC Nation merged with Brady Hicks' IN THE ROOM Internet Radio Network, giving the combined medium over 50,000 monthly listeners.

VOC Nation Radio streams live programming 7 days a week, and has forged partnerships with BlogTalkRadio, Stitcher Internet Radio, Podomatic, iTunes, and GoDaddy to bring daily live entertainment and downloadable podcasts to listeners worldwide.  VOC Nation has over 100,000 twitter followers and has consistently ranked in the top 1% of downloadable podcasts as ranked by Podomatic, and in the top 5% of live streaming programming as ranked by Stitcher Internet Radio.

Rachel from Charleston asks:

Hi, Sometimes I send your questions to facebook because I happen to be logged in there. Do you like email better or does it matter?

I have a question about commercials on tv and ads in magazines. Sometimes photographers take pictures of people fully clothed underwater. Why do the people look dry while they are underwater, but when they come out, their hair and clothes look all clingy and yucky and bad. Thanks guys, I wish I had all the answers you have!

Special guest, Mike from Philly. He brought us Jim Beam. And I was assured it was Jim Beam.
