TOP ROPE RADIO

Well, it is the beginning of January so not only is it another year on the planet, it means that New Japan Pro Wrestling's Wrestle Kingdom show has taken place. This year NJPW's biggest show of the year, NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 10 from the Tokyo Dome featured two heavily publicized matches and a meaty undercard as well.

Did the show stack up to the lofty expectations set by last year's wonderful WK 9? Did Kazuchika Okada usher in the new era of NJPW? Or did Hiroshi Tanahashi cement himself as the ace yet again? was the Shinsuke Nakamura vs. AJ Styles dream match really epic? What about the NEVER Title match and the rest of the card?

Well, we break it down match by match, discuss the decisions, the match quality, what it means for the rest of the year of NJPW, in our NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 10 Review (3:00-1:22:00.)

At the end of the review, we give our final ratings and also discuss the HUGE news (1:22:00-End) that broke today about Shinsuke Nakamura, AJ Styles, Doc Gallows, and Karl Anderson all giving notice to NJPW and possibly heading for WWE. What will this do to New Japan? What does it bring to NXT and WWE? Who are the next in line to step up and be the leaders for NJPW? We try to answer all that and more.

Whether this is your first time listening or you listen every week, it would help us greatly if you visited this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2DKX36Y and took a survey we made about the podcast.
