So...I decided to do a cover of some of my favorite songs from sound of music. It's one of the movies that made my childhood. I mean...this was the movie that made me memorize the tonic solfa

This was definitely my most stressful entry ever😭 ...and longest too😅...but it was funn😊

Listening to the first song in Sound of Music- How Do You Solve A Problem like Maria, made me sad, it made me realize that she wasn't really wanted at the Abbey🥺...I'm glad she found a place where she wasn't tagged a liability

I picked the song " Rise up" by Andra Day for this week


During a tumultuous period in her life, Andra Day channeled her pain into writing this deeply emotional piece. The loss of a close friend to illness, compounded by other sorrowful events, weighed heavily on her heart, leaving her in a state of profound despair. Overwhelmed by grief and feeling trapped in a dark mental and emotional space, she faced the daunting decision to rise above it all. Despite the excruciating pain and overwhelming sorrow, she summoned the last vestiges of her strength and willed her soul to rise. In her darkest moments, she made the courageous choice to rise up.

This song brings me to tears as it reminds me of the darkest times in my life when I had no will to live, move on, or keep going.

I felt trapped in my worst nightmare, wishing life would continue without me. My soul felt dead and empty, as if I had reached the end of the tunnel with no light—or worse, a tunnel with no end.

It felt like the end of me. Unable to find strength within myself, I cried out to God, pouring my heart out to Him. I'm not so sure if "little darling" referred to in the song is his soulmate or his dreams, but the warmth of the song makes me feel like I want to run away, hand in hand with my soul mate❤️.

My name is Itua Uyi and this is my entry for the vibe web 3 music competition, Week 13.

I was brought into this talented space by @sekani


I was to submit this in week 12, which had the theme "pain", but i was unable to. This song is titled "Arcade" by Duncan Lawrence ft Fletcher which depicts the hurt and pain that comes from loving someone.

In my own instance...the hurt and pain from one sided love 🥺

Loving someone who doesn't love you back is a game you will never win.

There's this close friend of mine that I have feelings for but he doesn't feel the same way😔. Here I am, stuck in the friend zone
