Ms. Denise Manganello has been an integral part of the Seneca Valley Academy of Choice (SVAOC) program since its inception in 2007 first serving as an assistant principal and then becoming principal in 2013. She is currently working on her doctorate through American College of Education with a focus on Online Education. Prior to that, she served as Assistant Principal of the Senior High School and has been with the district since 2006.

DeeAnn Graham has just completed her 17th year as a building administrator, with 15 as a principal. She started her career as a fifth and sixth grade teacher in a private school before stepping out of education temporarily to work in domestic steel sales. However, being an educator was foremost in her heart. An opportunity presented itself to teach in Seneca Valley. That was 25 years ago, and she still thinks Seneca Valley is the best place to work and learn!

Bob Ceh is finishing his 28th year in public education, all at Seneca Valley.  He has served as a teacher and dean of students for the first 20 years of his career in the middle and high schools.  For the past seven years, he has served as a principal in the district, four years in  Ryan Gloyer Middle School and three years in the Senior High School.

Ms. Kyra Bobak, Seneca Valley Human Resources Director

Ms. Kyra Bobak has over 20 years of experience in education and has been an administrator in Seneca Valley School District since 2006.
During her work as principal at Haine Elementary, the school received the Olweus Quality Assurance designation in 2011. The school was one of the three schools in the nation to be recognized. During her tenure in this role, she was also elected and served as the Pennsylvania Association of Elementary and Secondary School Principals (PAESSP) West II Regional Representative for the State.
Ms. Bobak is a member of numerous professional associations, and as the Director of Human Resources, she is currently serving as a founding advisory board member for Sprigeo, an online national organization for an anti-bullying system. Her position on the board allows her to share her passion for education and commitment to positive change in schools.

Tina Francis has been in education for 17 years, the last 10 years serving as an elementary school administrator. Dr. Francis is in her sixth year as the assistant principal at Connoquenessing Valley Elementary School. Prior to coming to Seneca Valley, she worked for Charles County Public Schools in Maryland where she served as an assistant principal and a middle school mathematics teacher. Dr. Francis has a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education and a Masters of Education degree from California University of Pennsylvania and a Doctorate of Education degree from Point Park University.

Amanda Mallin currently serves in the role of assistant principal in the senior high, alongside Principal, Robert Ceh. This is her third year in the district, with prior experience as Cyber Coordinator, and classroom experience as an Emotional Support Teacher and a Learning Support Teacher. She holds a degree in Psychology, a Master’s Degree in Education, and continues her journey of lifelong learning both informally and formally. Wellness and mental health are topics of high interest and passion for Mrs. Mallin.

Dr. Marie Palano has been an administrator in the Seneca Valley School District since 2011, serving as assistant principal and principal before moving to her current role of Director of Analytics and Federal Programs. Dr. Palano uses meaningful data to develop and implement initiatives connected to the district's goals. In addition, Dr. Palano oversees federal programming (Title I, Title II, Title III and Title IV) for the district.

Ms. Bobi-Jean Alexander, Seneca Valley Intermediate High School Choral Director

Bobi-Jean Alexander is in her 29th year of teaching at Seneca Valley. She spent a semester studying choral conducting at the Eastman School of Music and a semester studying the Art of Theatre at Harvard University as extensions of her Master’s in Music Education which she completed at Duquesne University. Mrs. Alexander has performed as a professional singer in many parts of the Eastern United States throughout her teaching career. She directs high school choirs, the Show Choir, the Fall Musical, and community choirs and takes great pride in the rich tradition of the SV choral program.

Mr. Bob Babick, Seneca Valley Band Director 

Bob Babick is a director of bands at Seneca Valley Senior High School, Intermediate High School, and Ryan Gloyer Middle School and has been a Seneca Valley teacher for 11 years. He is responsible for co-directing the Seneca Valley Concert Winds, Symphonic Band, 8th Grade Concert Band, 7th Grade Concert Band, Ryan Gloyer Middle School Jazz Ensemble, and Seneca Valley Marching Band. Mr. Babick also has served as a guest conductor and clinician throughout western Pennsylvania.

Performing Arts at SV: Proud of the Past, Excited to Move Forward with Mr. Aaron Magill 

SPECIAL GUEST
Mr. Aaron Magill, Seneca Valley Senior High School Choral Director, All-School Musical Producer and Vocal Director

Aaron Magill is a graduate of Seneca Valley. He went on to major in Music Education at Bowling Green State University in Ohio. He spent his first years teaching in the Frederick County Public Schools in Frederick, Maryland. While teaching middle/elementary school choir and general music, he sang with the Master Chorale of Washington and the Professional singing group “The Washington Singers.”  
Mr. Magill has performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., Avery Theater at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall in New York City and for several Christmas tree lightings at the White House. In 2003, Mr. Magill began his teaching career at Seneca Valley Senior High School in the Choral Department. He directs the Concert Choir, Women’s Chorus, Men’s Chorus, Madrigal Singers, Women’s and Men’s Quartet and assists with the Show Choir. He is also the Producer and Vocal Director for the All-School Musical, Adviser to Tri M and is the intermediate high school (IHS) auditorium stage manager in charge of the IHS stage crew.    
Under his direction, the choirs of the senior high school have consistently earned superior ratings and first place awards at music performance assessments and competitions throughout the country.
