Jenn Johnson, RN, is a dedicated nurse with over 16 years of experience in emergency rooms across Northern and Southern Ontario, Canada. A frontline worker through the most challenging times, Jenn has witnessed firsthand the intense pressures of the profession, from life-and-death moments to the struggles of coping during the pandemic. A passionate advocate for nurse well-being, Jenn’s new book, NURSING INTUITION, was written to support her peers by offering insights on how to reconnect with the love of nursing and foster resilience in a rapidly changing healthcare environment. She is also a wife and mother of two.
Jenn’s qualifications go beyond her nursing experience. As a mentor and advocate for nurse well-being, she has dedicated years to helping peers navigate the profession’s demands. Dr. Alan S. Greenglass is a retired physician and health system executive. After studying engineering at Columbia University, he turned to health care as a way to combine his interest in science and his desire to find solutions to societal problems. He graduated from Brown University School of Medicine where he also trained in Internal Medicine. He was a primary care internist and physician manager at Kaiser Permanents in Connecticut and Director of Internal Medicine and Urgent Care of Yale University before continuing his management career in Delaware as Senior VP for the Christiana Care Health System .
Dr. Greenglass’s health care interests and expertise include population health, the social determinants of health, and preventative medicine as well as how to make health care more accessible, affordable, and equitable. His experience spans over four decades.
A constant learner, his involvement in working for a better global future embraces environmental concerns, including climate change and health, extreme heat, outdoor and indoor air quality, and environmental justice. Instilled in him since childhood is “live to make the world a better place.” To that end, he is determined to motivate people to care for their environment.
Alan and his wife live in Delaware, and they travel extensively at home and abroad. New Zealand, Iceland, Japan, the Galapagos, Patagonia, and Tanzania are among their recent trips. They have two grown daughters, and two young granddaughters. Other interests include cycling, gardening, and reading. Learning to play the piano is next on his list!

She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine and a Master of Public Health from UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. Her training was completed at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital Family Medicine Residency program where she graduated with a teaching award. She has a passion for mentorship and has achieved awards recognizing her contributions including the prestigious Emory University 40 under 40 Award and Top 20 under 40 for Brickell Magazine. She enjoys speaking to high-achieving professionals who may fall into the success trap and find themselves joyless and burnt out. She is a professional speaker with expertise in self-care, wellness, and appreciating joy in life.
