Community groups at Veritas are a beautiful way in which we do life together—belonging to one another.

Since the early days of Veritas, we've been blessed to be connected to what God is doing across the world in the country of Nepal. Veritas Tri-City has developed a close relationship with a church in Kathmandu, and has been able to invest in their mission to see the gospel proclaimed throughout the country for many years.

Last year, several members of Veritas Tri-City traveled to Nepal to deepen relationships, encourage local believers, and help equip pastors to faithfully continue the work of gospel ministry.

In this episode, Brad and Scarlett Snyder, Casaundra Courtright, and Mark Ferch reflect on the history of this partnership, share stories from their time in Nepal, and talk about how they were personally impacted by witnessing God at work through His church in a remote village halfway around the world.

Veritas West members Matthew Demoulin and Jordan Fillmore first arrived at the Veritas West building for an orientation to The Refuge Addiction Recovery program at a point of deep desperation, seeking help beyond themselves.

Today, by the grace of God, both serve on staff at The Refuge, dedicating their days to helping other men find healing, community, and ultimately a relationship with God.

We sat down with them to learn more about The Refuge ministry, which partners closely with Veritas West, and to hear their personal stories of walking through the addiction recovery process. This is an episode you won’t want to miss!

Veritas members Phil & Liz Bennetch are being sent from Veritas Short North in 2026 to serve as missionaries in Strasbourg, France after eight years of praying, waiting, and dreaming!

Their story is beautiful evidence of God's care for the littlest of details of their lives, equipping them through it all for the work he is calling them to.

 She Has A Name (SHAN) fights human trafficking through education and care for all those impacted.

On this episode, we’re joined by Executive Director Courtney Schmackers, who explains how SHAN works to equip communities to understand, prevent, and respond to human trafficking with dignity and wisdom.
