Heather Rovet is a Toronto-based real estate professional, author-in-progress, and public advocate known for her resilience and her commitment to empowering women impacted by manipulation and abuse.
Her life changed when she became involved with a charming, calculated con artist — a man later exposed in the Amazon Prime documentary ROMCON: Who the F**k Is Jason Porter?. Through uncovering the truth, Heather gained an unfiltered look into how emotional predators weaponize trust, distort reality, and even manipulate the criminal justice system to evade accountability. Instead of retreating, she stepped into advocacy, offering clarity and courage to others facing similar harm.
Today, Heather blends her professional background with lived expertise to speak about love-bombing, coercive control, digital-age deception, and the often overwhelming experience of navigating justice as a victim. She is currently writing her first book, which blends memoir and psychology to illuminate how manipulation happens — and how to reclaim your power on the other side.
Her mission is to ensure that no woman feels alone, ashamed, or powerless in the wake of manipulation — and to empower others to trust their instincts, reclaim their voice, and rebuild from a place of strength. She lives in Toronto with her rescue dog, Tommy, whose spirited Cairo origins remind her daily of resilience and second chances.

Peter Gunn is a U.S. Air Force veteran, avid bodybuilder, coffee connoisseur, lead guitarist for the international band The Angellics, and a poet dedicated to reviving the epic literary traditions of the past. His life has been shaped by defining experiences—from a childhood near-death encounter at age seven to navigating morbid obesity and serving as an altar boy, where he began to notice the shortcomings within the Roman Catholic Church.
After honorably serving 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, Peter became a father in 2010, which ignited his passion for introducing his daughter to classic poetry. Recognizing the absence of feminine representation within the traditional hero’s journey, he began writing The Amazons and developed LLP (Linked-Lyrical-Poetry), a modern poetic form that brings new energy to epic storytelling.
When the Covid-19 pandemic hit in 2020, Peter felt called to create the Sigma Squad graphic novel series—an accessible, visually driven narrative inspired by ancient Gnostic Gospels and aimed at awakening readers to deeper truths.
In early 2025, Peter joined forces with musicians from Germany to form The Angellics. Their debut album, Hazing Hades, was released on August 17, 2025, marking a bold new chapter in Peter’s artistic journey.

Martin Henson is the founder and executive director of BMEN, a nonprofit focused on building real support systems for Black men—mentally, emotionally, and culturally. He’s not just talking theory; he’s in the trenches helping Black men navigate the weight of racism, mental health struggles, masculinity, and everything that gets pushed aside in mainstream conversations.
With a background in mental health counseling, project management, and years of community organizing under his belt, Martin brings a rare mix of honesty and intellectual clarity. He’s the kind of person who can break down systems, speak on healing, and challenge the way we think about manhood, race, and power—all without sounding like a professor talking at you.
Whether it’s therapy, conversation, or community support, or just what Black men need to survive and grow, Martin brings a sharp, grounded, relatable voice to the mic.
