The Mountjoys in Italy

This book is centered on Val and Magdelena and is much easier to keep the characters straight than the previous books. There is still the pervading theme of music and oddly, a little mysticism, which has also been a very minor theme.

So Amusing and So Much Fun!

I just like all of Elizabeth Edmondson/Aston's books and this one is no exception. The Mediterranean island location helps to make this one of my favorites. I have read all 6 of the Mountjoy books and am sad to know that there will not be a 7th or an 8th - I will miss them.

Sunshine and Squalls

This delightful installment of the Mountjoy series takes place in one of Aston's Italian settings and involves her characteristic mix of suspense, comedy, romantic intrigue and self-discovery. Some of the characters are old friends from other volumes in the sequence, while others are newly introduced. A wonderful addition to a most entertaining serial.
