And in this episode, she brings along her friends, Syazwani and Aishah, to talk about Hijab, and they leave (almost) absolutely no stone unturned on the topic. From brands, colours, materials, fashion preferences and trends, to experiences of being a Hijabi, questions on the concept of Hijab, and getting into the groove of wearing the Hijab. Azfar joins the conversation, to ask on what guys need to know about Hijab, and to share concerns on how we should impart the values of Hijab to future generations.

Singaporean students at the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) are doing amazing things apart from seeking knowledge, and one of those volunteer-led initiatives is Tell Me A Story Too (TMAST). Farah and Nasyitah share their experiences on empowering the lives of refugees in Malaysia, while Muhammad gatecrashes and sends everyone into bursts of laughter. Join Hanisah as she discovers the challenges faced by refugees, and how TMAST aids in easing their lives through education. Hanisah catches up with her friends, Afra, Siti and Haziq, talking about sleep. Yes, it’s just sleep, but hey, it is sleep! Rest is not only for our physical self. At times, we need rest from our social and intellectual lives too. So, the four friends discuss their sleep patterns, and matters related to sleep, like scheduling tasks, productivity optimizations, planning ahead in life, big decisions and near-death experiences. Okay, that’s a lot of things. And yup, Haziq got washed in the river while hiking in The Himalayas. No biggie, he’s fine.

Hanisah meets up with her friends, Khairi and Aquila, to talk about Wudhu. Well, what’s there to talk about a mundane act of washing yourself for prayer? They share their experiences on how Wudhu has been a form of Taqwa Tracker for themselves, and they discuss how Wudhu, intrinsically, provides spiritual value for personal discipline. Water, as it is, is not the only natural element that aids spiritual contemplation, and so, the three friends begin to talk about nature and its role in our religiosity. That brings us to environmental issues, on caring about nature being one human responsibility bestowed to us by God, that is often overlooked in our pursuit of spirituality.

Yasmeen Wong is a humanitarian nurse who travels the world to care for those who are in need of cure. Join our host, Hanisah, as two friends speak about their journey and experiences in aiding others beyond borders, working in the healthcare industry, the struggles of humanitarian workers, and career considerations. Yasmeen also shares her observations and thoughts on her current work, helping local HIV patients, speaking about the stigmas related to the illness, and sexual education amongst the youth. She also gives a sneak peek into how she became Muslim. Meanwhile, Hanisah gets some tips on how to convince her parents about her career decisions.
