The good things we achieve or receive can only give us temporal excitement or cause us to react positively.

Our true peace is hidden in Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace.

The Beautiful Gate” PJ-factor (Peter and John)

Our case study is the Man that was lame from birth who was daily laid at “The Beautiful Gate” at the ninth hour of Prayer. The fact that he was strategically carried to the temple at the hour of Prayer is significant because, that positioned him right to encounter Peter and John. They did not have what he was expecting or wanted, but they had what he needed. He needed Jesus Christ to come into his battered life to make him better. He was also at the “Beautiful Gate” but his life was not beautiful. Therefore, he also needed Jesus to make his life beautiful beyond being around or associated with beautiful people or surrounding.

Nugget

1. No matter how beautiful you are, or your surrounding and things around you look, you are NOT beautiful without Christ.

2. Everyone needs a Peter and John (PJ-factor) to point them to what they need or who they need “JESUS” (WORD). This is Permanent and everlasting. On the contrary, what we want is often WORLDLY desires which is temporary and can easily fade away. Choose right by the help of the Holy Spirit.

It is wise to invite Jesus Christ into your life so that you can move from the outer Beautiful gate to the Beautiful inner courts or His Holy presence where you can actually behold the beauty of the Lord.

Times and Seasons belong to God “Pruned to flourish”

Everyone is faced with situations or issues that can be classified as “Seasons” of life. For example there are reasons why we go through these seasons.

It could be for us to gain experience, have better understanding of certain aspects of life or grow and qualify for the next level of life.

It is wise and helpful on the long run to accept or see such moments or situations as opportunity to become better and not bitter.

When you allow God to prune you through the tests or trials, you come out sharpened, stronger and more diligent.

Pruning is the cutting away dead or overgrown branches or stems, especially to increase fruitfulness and growth. It is cutting off bad fruits to give way to bear good fruits.

VOT: July 15, 2024- Sow the right SEED “Reap in Mercy” Hosea 10:12.

One thing that is constant and apparent to all of God’s creation is sowing seeds. The onus is on us to intentionally sow in righteousness in order for us to reap in mercy. If you are not intentional or conscious of sowing good seeds, you may be sowing wrong seeds without your knowledge or understanding. It takes the Holy Spirit to quicken you or caution you to sow the right seeds. Therefore we must stay rooted and grounded in the undiluted Word of God.

When you walk in obedience and manifest the fruit of the Spirit, you are on the right path and will surely flourish.

On the other hand, when you walk in disobedience, you are also likely to be sowing the wrong seed which has negative consequences and could cause such a person to perish. Choose to flourish and not perish.

The benefits that come with sowing the right seed of obedience are numerous, and will last forever as long as we stay faithful and diligent.

Nugget: The bridge that will successfully cross you from the side of disobedience to the side of total obedience is genuine repentance.

The right association or Godly relationship will always end in victory and uncommon favour.

Lot was spared by divine association with Abraham, but his wife looked back and became a pillar of Salt.

Noah was asked to bring his entire family under the ark. In the midst of the flood, they were spared.

Ruth was preserved from further pain and shame when she decided to follow her Mother In-law, Naomi all the way back to her land of origin Bethlehem Judah.

The four Hebrew boys: Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were allies and emerged victorious throughout their battles both in the Lion’s den (Daniel) and the fiery furnace) for the other three, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego by divine association. They walked together in the fear of the Lord and made up their mind not to defile themselves of the King’s meat.

The Word “Grace” is so commonly used, yet very powerful. It is not a “cliche”

Many use the word “Grace” with a negative motive of not desiring to accomplish the set goals and with the mind that once anyone hears the word, they will be convinced that they truly mean what they say. However often times we discover that it is used in deception or without being truly persuaded. It has became an escape route or false excuse that is assumed to validate the intent of the heart. Some also feel it’s the best way to prove their sincerity. With these myths in mind, it is safer to trust God only and make room for any disappointments or unexpected drawbacks which is very common and may seem usual to men.

The Word of God admonishes us not to trust man wholeheartedly because man is mortal and may sometimes be helpless even when there is a strong desire or will to be a doer of God’s Word. The greatest helper is God “The Holy Spirit” who equips and empowers us by Grace.

Grace is a very essential need or necessity which is likened to Gas or fuel, that a vehicle needs to embark on or continue a journey. We, as God’s creation must constantly look unto God to supply this essential gas or fuel called “Grace” in order to have a safe and fulfilled journey in life. It covers every area of life and is a necessity just as gas is a necessity for any journey.

1. G: God factor makes it available. Grace is available, and is given freely to as many who ask for it. Please note the word “ASK” is key. It is not based on assumption because it is in varying measure.

2. R: Reliability on God. Without God we cannot obtain Grace. He is the author and finisher of our faith and is the supplier of the “Grace-Gas”

3. A: Availability and Ability are possible through the Power provided by Grace

Whenever we need to purchase earthly goods or anything we cannot fully pay for, we often ask for a guarantor. However, in Christ we have an eternal guarantee or security because He purchased it for man (us) for free with His precious Blood. Hence we can boldly approach the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace and favour any time we are in need.

Unlike Man, Jesus is our surety, who does not expect material gifts from us except our willingness and obedience to hearken unto His voice or yield to divine instructions.

When we heed to His voice diligently we receive unlimited blessings effortlessly. The struggle is eradicated and peace is restored.

Jesus, “The Sure Foundation” guarantees Peace. He gives peace that surpasses all understanding.

The strength and durability of a building is dependent on the foundation laid at the preparatory stage. If the foundation is not strong or solid, the building cannot last long. If we want our lives to be peaceful and joyful, we must give our hearts to Jesus Christ, the prince of peace and the joy of the world.

A life with Christ is one of Peace and in one piece while a life without Christ is shattered or broken to pieces. When we come to Jesus Christ, He puts back the broken pieces into one beautiful piece like the puzzle.

Jesus Christ is the sure Foundation that guarantees joy and peace.

The pathway to Victory Grace, Mercy and Favour=Victory “GMF=V”

Our Victory through Jesus Christ, our Saviour Has been pre-ordained from the foundations. In the Creation, Man was declared as the carrier or conduit of Power. The Power was given to Man to dominate and subdue the earth. This is enhanced by our determination to do our part as God Has done His own part.

Since our victory was settled already on Calvary, there should be no fear of losing because we carry the DNA of God which does not have defeat in, but rather guarantees us deliverance from every programmed destruction. The death of Jesus Christ on the cross was not in vain, but was actually to terminate every contrary covenant of death, afflictions, frustrations and condemnation. It replaces evil with goodness, mercy, favour, Joy and Peace Overflow.

If the Son Has made you free, you are free indeed. Boldly receive your free gift of Salvation and unlimited benefits by the power and grace of God, Amen.

Our victory is guaranteed because God Has given us a blank cheque by His “GMF” Grace, Mercy and Favour.

VOT: June 27, 2024- Hidden in the Obstacle is a Miracle. Mark 2:1-4.

The four friends of the paralytic who needed a miracle of healing from Jesus Christ, the great healer demonstrated violent and desperate faith, tearing down the roof to get to where Jesus was. They cared less about the outcome and financial implication of doing the unusual, but we’re more concerned about the miracle they hoped for in the midst of the obstacle. The roof, which was supposedly a covering, in this case became an obstacle or barrier until Jesus appeared the scene.

Before the manifestation of God’s power and performance of miracles, there are usually barriers or obstacles which are intended by the devil to discourage you, introduce fear, anxieties, doubt or unbelief. Choose to shun the deception of the devil whose aim is to stop you from receiving divine intervention and turnaround, and choose to take the risk or go the extra mile to save your soul our someone close by. All the glory goes to God, but you would have sown a good or worthy seed which may grant you a good or worthy harvest.

Nugget: Whatever you make happen for others, particularly positively is a spiritual Investment will eventually come back to you as a spiritual benefit or good reward. David and Mephibosheth, Dorcas to mention a few. Choose to sow in righteousness and reap in mercy.

Acronym of Miracles

M: Manifestation of the power of God. God makes a way where there seems to be no way

I: intervention once Jesus is invited or steps in. Immediately Jesus appeared the obstacle disappeared.

R: Restoration. Release your faith regardless of the difficult circumstances or harsh conditions (obstacles)

A: Actualization. Again and again, Jesus is never tired of performing miracles

C: Christ-focus and Christ-centred guarantees miracles resulting even in the face of obstacles

L: Lean not on your own understanding, but trust God beyond the visible realm, because He exists in the invisible or supernatural realm where the miracle resides.

E: Expectation will always lead to manifestation. This is the secret behind the actualization and making the spoken Word come to fruition. The Woman with the issue of Blood spoke what she believed out loudly without wavering, that if she could touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, she would be made whole.

S: Stand and see the Salvation of God, having done all.

VOT: June 20, 2024-Stay humble so you do not stumble

A Beautiful Spirit is better than a beautiful body because at the end of our journey on planet earth, our body has not power to enter into God’s residence.

Man is a Spirit, he possesses a Soul and lives in a physical Body which can be referred to as “The House”

It is clear that the physical body has no plans and can never ascend to Heaven, but yet does everything possible to try to stop man from ascending to Heaven where he originally came from. It prevents man in a subtle manner through outbursts, wrath, deception, anger, bitterness, lack of forgiveness, resentment and much more. Therefore, the onus is on us to be wise to subdue our flesh and avoid every Pride of life, lust of the eyes and lust of the flesh.

Therefore it is wise to attend more to our Spirit-man in total humility than our body. In as much as we have to take care of our physical body by eating the right food and maintaining it, it is more important to nurture our Spirit-man more by partaking and digesting the right spiritual food (The Word). When we walk in the Spirit and in obedience, our Spirit-man becomes “Beautiful” as we manifest the fruit of the Spirit. This must be our ultimate goal or good desire, to possess a “Beautiful Spirit” beyond “Beautiful Body” (flesh).

Our victory is in our faith in the Word of God. On the contrary, failure to stand on the Word of God and humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God, can make such a person stumble or fall into the wicked hand of the adversary.

We must be sober and vigilant, staying focused on the Lord’s side so that our victory will be guaranteed through our Saviour, Jesus Christ. We must strive or work hard to ensure that our Spirit man is “Beautiful” and aligns with the Spirit of God, by walking in the Spirit.

We overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and by the Words of our testimony.

“Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭19‬-‭21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬:

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
