In the "Note on the Rubrics," it may have been clearer if, for the second sentence, I read, "These VIGIL days were penitential days and at Mass the priest wore violet..." I think the point still comes across, but that would have made it clearer.
When adding my own commentary, I'm still learning the best use of the vocabulary and what the best level of specificity should be. I'm also still discovering new intricacies of the pre-1955 Missal that I am trying to add into my production.
