The Twelfth Sunday after Pentecost | The Good Samaritan | 1962 Missal | Latin Mass Readings | 8/16/2026
Today, in the pre-1955, the Feast of St. Joachim supersedes the Twelfth Sunday after Pentecost, which is celebrated in the 1962 Missal. Both commemorate each other, but the pre-1955 includes the Gospel of the Twelfth Sunday, The Good Samaritan, at the end as the "Last Gospel."
