This episode was centered around a pretty hefty debate regarding what happens after death. Both religious and scientific views were met head-on, and both were tossed up in the air. Kim gets swapped with an alien who thinks she's headed into the next Emanation (read Heaven) only to find out that there's nothing there but death. Seeing behind the veil is very eye opening and creates some interesting discussions about what we think we know about life, death, and what's beyond the threshold.
