Hochul reverses course, it's an election year, can't tax people until after the election. Jobs are imploding, wages decreasing and jobs going to illegals. First it was Canada, now the ECB cut rates, next is the Fed in Sept. The [DS] plan has fallen apart, they thought the people will jump ship if they convicted Trump, it has backfired. Now the other cases are in jeopardy. The DOD has now changed their COG document, they changed the name from directive to instruction. Trump has begun the process of vetting the next VP, it might not be the person on the list. The [DS] is now trapped, the are in a downward spiral which means they will try to coverup all of their crimes with war.

WEF brags that over $100 billion was taken via carbon taxes last year

The WEF has announced that $104 billion was syphoned out of the pockets of taxpayers globally via carbon taxes last year to pay for environmental schemes.

In an article, the WEF brags that this is a new record and that carbon taxes and emissions trading systems now account for 24% of the world’s emissions, up from 7% in 2013.

However, according to the report, it’s not enough. Less than 1% of global emissions are being subject to a direct carbon price at the target rates, meaning there’s still plenty of room for more taxes.

No evidence that carbon taxes work

Of course, there’s no evidence carbon taxes change the weather or affect emissions. If there was, Canada, a world-renowned champion of it, would be able to provide evidence of this.

In fact, there’s probably evidence to the contrary, i.e., that not only has the carbon tax not changed the weather, it’s made life significantly worse for Canadians for no good reason—as is likely the case everywhere else there’s a carbon tax

Another Failed Dem Policy: NY Gov. Hochul Forced to Place ‘Indefinite Pause’ on New York City ‘Congestion Pricing’ 

“The public transit authority hasn’t determined how much to charge drivers, but has considered fares ranging from $9 to $23 for passenger vehicles and between $12 and $82 for trucks. The scenarios contemplate different combinations of potential discounts, credits, and exemptions,” Politico reported.

New York’s Democrat Governor Kathy Hochul’s spox John Lindsay cheered the approval saying at the time, “Governor Hochul is committed to implementing congestion pricing to reduce traffic, improve air quality, and support our public transit system. We’ve worked closely with partners across government and with community members over the last four years to develop a plan that will achieve these goals.”

Politico reports:

“Circumstances have changed and we must respond to the facts on the ground and not the rhetoric of five years ago,” she said.

The decision by Hochul leaves a host of unanswered questions, including how the MTA will make up the expected annual $1 billion in revenue. The money would have gone to a larger $15 billion capital plan for public transportation improvements.
