Jesus continues teaching His disciples using the Beatitudes to explain the strong connection between the Old and New Testament. We need to yearn for righteousness.

This is the beginning of a new series called "Discourse to the Disciples." Denny will be going through Matthew 5 -7. The first entry deals with Matthew 5:1-5 where Jesus is having an "intimate discourse" with His disciples as He begins teaching the Beatitudes.

Who Jesus is makes a huge difference who we are. Jesus is the very Image of God. Jesus is Head of the Church.

What are the gifts you can give to God? Make some "Christmas Resolutions" as you seek God on how you can make new changes for new freedom.

In part 3 of Proverbs 31, we see that the "Heroic Homemaker" who has worked hard didn't ignore the needs of others.

What an exciting reminder in I Peter 2:4-10, that we are a living stone" to be built into "a spiritual house for a holy priesthood."
