Nico attempted suicide 4 times in his younger years(though he is still only Mid 20s) and now lives in this moment still learning and growing from his previous version of himself. He will say that his wife was a major part of him being where he is today, yet also speaks on how find your person and your people will ultimately be your community of care and support.

Christine has a heart after God and his divine purpose for her life. To know Christine is to truly experience God’s Love in human form. If I were to have. Top 10 list of most authentic and vulnerable people I have met, she would be on it.

We bring this season to a close with one of the people who has kept me the most humble and looked out for me even when I didn’t know it/realize it, Dr. Nadrea Njoku.

Hailing from New Orleans, LA, Nadrea is one of the top thought leaders and scholars in the country when it comes to working in the field of college access and higher education.

This week you all are in for a conversation as we don’t take any breaks and we get deeper and more truthful by the minute. It will almost feel like a kitchen table conversation as Nadrea is cooking up some great words of wisdom and an actual meal all at the same time.

This episode is two friends giving each other their flowers along with some reflections on life and sprinkle in some laughs. Nadrea has had a full life and many accolades including being part of Ebony Magazine’s 2016 Power 100 list, yet she is always ready to invest in others and make time for her family and friends.

This episode we get to hear from the great voice of Candace Spencer. We truly get to gain some insight into her spiritual life and how one prayer began a shift in her life when it comes to vulnerability.

From allowing people to see her soft spots, she has been able to grow in community, move past fears of rejection, and find herself even more than before.

Candace is one of the funniest people I know, yet also one of the most caring individuals you will ever meet.
