Now he's the host of Humans 2.0 and the recent author of Screw Being Shy!For the first 18 years of his life he was insecure, social anxious and really had no idea where he fit in the world. He grew up with humble beginnings, with parents who had immigrated to America just before he was born. When his parents decided to move to a smaller town, the new school environment would present a ton of adversity, whether it through be racism or bullying. This would be the main cause of his social anxiety, and cause quite a few other mental and physical issues. Being so young he really didn’t know how to deal with any of this inner turmoil and would turn to food, the Internet and video games. He would also dive into entrepreneurship, and actually find his first success at 15, but really had no idea how to deal with it. All of this eventually led to him being lost and confused in college, and at 18 he was on the verge of wanting to take his own life. A major turning point happened one night on a walk, and would be the catalyst for the person we know today. Now he’s the host of the Global Top 100 podcast Humans 2.0, interviewing some of the top minds of our world today. This week he’ll become an author with his first book Screw Being Shy, helping others deal with their own social anxiety. For more information on Mark Metry you can follow him on social media or visit his website:LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/mark-metry/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/markmetry/Website: https://www.markmetry.com/
