Today we are joined by Sreeram Kannan, Founder of Eigenlayer.
EigenLayer is a layer2 protocol built on Ethereum which uses staked Eth2 as a bootstrapping mechanism for new dApps wanting to raise capital to build on top of Eigenlayer. For this, the protocol utilizes what they refer to as “restaking”.
Restaking is a mechanism by which existing Eth2 stakers opt in to provide additional services, for additional yield, while taking on additional risk. In essence, EigenLayer is trying to level the playing field so that new protocols don't have to bootstrap funds, and have the opportunity to access the liquidity in the Eth2 staking system.

Today we are joined by Weilei Yu, CMO at Subspace Labs
Subspace is an open, scalable layer-one blockchain and platform for both storage and computation which is fully interoperable with any layer one. Subspace is using a Proof-of-Archival-Storage consensus mechanism which allows them to provide decentralized storage for protocol and application developers. Farmers on the network, store the blockchain history collectively, allowing them to operate as a single distributive archival node. Subspace is working to bring smart storage at internet scale. From NFT based gaming and metaverses to cross-chain applications, Subspace is re-envisioning the types of apps that can be stored on and secured by a blockchain.

Today, we are joined by Manny - Cardinals business development officer.
Cardinal is a Solana Protocol that enhances the utility of NFTs by allowing minters and holders to issue them to beneficiaries with intrinsic caveats governing the receipt & ownership. To accomplish this, the protocol creates a wrapper around a Solana NFT that facilitates programmatic management of its life cycle according to any number of issuer-specified parameters. It’s modularity allows for wide range of use cases including rentals, identity tokens, tickets, subscriptions, & expiring items.

Today, we are joined by the team of NFTfi for a follow-up AMA.
NFTfi is a trustless, decentralized, peer to peer liquidity protocol for NFTs on Ethereum. Borrowers can use their NFTs as collateral to get loans from lenders in either DAI or wETH. As soon as the loan is paid off, the NFT will be sent back by the smart contract, allowing you to leverage the liquidity of your NFT without having to sell it.

Today, we are joined by Chris Hogan and Drew Ewing - two lead engineers at Satellite IM.
Satellite IM is a fully decentralized peer-to-peer voice, video, and text communication platform. Their initial desktop application, supports 4K video chat and streaming, lossless audio, and 4GB sharing capabilities, at no cost to the user. Satellite at its current development stage is both EVM compatible and being built on the Solana network, but it is working towards being a chain agnostic protocol. The platform allows users to sign, encrypt, broadcast, search, and store documents or messages with decentralized identifiers, all while making the need for an existing wallet completely optional.

In this episode, Viviane Ford joined us to talk about Aleo.
Aleo is a layer one programmable zero-knowledge-proof blockchain used for building fully private, scalable, and cost-effective applications. Using zero-knowledge cryptography, Aleo moves smart contract execution off-chain to enable a diverse range of decentralized applications that are entirely private and can scale to thousands of transactions per second. Built on an open, public blockchain, Aleo brings all the flexibility of Ethereum but with a more scalable architecture in which miners don’t need to re-run every transaction but simply verify their correctness.
