Silverstone het behoorlik drama gelewer! 

Max Verstappen het die naweek sterk begin met 'n briljante pole lap , maar dinge het vinnig skeefgeloop toe hy in die nat weer 'n spin gemaak het en uiteindelik vyfde geëindig het. Ferrari het aanvanklik belowend gelyk, maar kon nie die tempo volhou nie.

Oscar Piastri het 'n 10-sekonde straf gekry vir 'n Safety Car oortreding 2—iets wat aan George Russell se soortgelyke move in Kanada herinner, maar sonder straf daardie keer. Tog het McLaren hul derde 1–2 van die seisoen behaal, met Lando Norris wat sy eerste Britse Grand Prix gewen het.

Die held van die dag? Nico Hülkenberg! Van P19 na P3 in sy 239ste Grand Prix—'n ongelooflike prestasie.
