Vyjayanti Vasanta Mogli a remarkable human rights activist and trans advocate in India shares her astonishing journey overcoming life’s toughest struggles in Hyderabad, India.  Vyjayanti talks about how she was thrown out of her family home for being trans, escaped violent relatives and was taken in by the Hijra community.  Through receiving vital care and support from this commune Vyjayanti was able to acquire skills through distant learning and go on to achieve her degree and masters degree. With her skills and knowledge Vyjayanti has gone on to transform the state of Telengana, India for trans people. She has been instrumental in reversing the draconian laws of British imperialism and paves an inspiring and hopeful path for her trans siblings in India.
